Commissioned by Vanity Fair magazine (Italy) to photograph the beauty and culture of one of the most isolated inhabited places on earth. Seychelles is an archipelago composed of 115 islands in the middle of the Indian Ocean, of which I covered the three largest: Mahé, Anse Lazio and Pralin. Home of lush Coco de Mer palm forests producing the largest nut in the world, and of the "flying wolves", enormous vegetarian bats that are a local delicacy. I tried the curried Flying Wolf Stew at our restaurant. It was absolutely delicious.
